If you’re looking to visit Global Village in Dubai, you can easily get there using the city’s public bus service for just Dh10. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has resumed special bus routes to Global Village, which will continue until the attraction’s 27th season ends on April 29, 2023.
Global Village operates from 4 pm to 12 am on Sundays to Wednesdays, and from 4 pm to 1 am on Thursdays to Saturdays. Ladies and families have exclusive access on Tuesdays, except on official public holidays.
There are four main bus routes to Global Village, and a one-way trip will cost Dh10. You’ll need to use your Nol card to pay for the fare, and make sure it has enough balance for a two-way trip. If you don’t have enough balance, you can top up using the ‘Nol Pay’ app, available on Apple, Android, and Huawei devices.
If you’re coming from Centrepoint Metro Station in Rashidiya, take Bus 102 from Al Rashdiya Bus Station Gate 5. The bus arrives every hour, and the journey takes 30 minutes. If you’re in Deira, you can take Bus 103 from the Union Square Bus Station, near Union Metro Station. The bus arrives every 40 minutes, and the trip takes approximately one hour.
For those in Bur Dubai, Karama, or Al Fahidi, take Bus 104 from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station in Al Fahidi. The bus arrives every hour. Finally, from the Mall of the Emirates Metro Station, take Bus 106 from the Mall of the Emirates Bus Station. The bus arrives every hour, and the journey takes approximately 32 minutes.
If you’re coming from Ras Al Khaimah, you can take a special bus route that links the two destinations. The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) started this new public bus route in January 2023. The service is only available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with two daily round trips starting from Al Hamra Bus Station, the main station in Ras Al Khaimah.
A one-way ticket from Ras Al Khaimah to Global Village costs Dh30, and the journey takes approximately one hour and 20 minutes. You can buy the ticket for the trip from the main bus station or online through the RAKTA website (rakta.gov.ae) or the ‘RAKBus’ app.
The bus timings for this route are as follows: from Ras Al Khaimah to Global Village at 3 pm, and from Global Village to Ras Al Khaimah at 10 pm.
