Piano Excellence from Venice

Dubai Opera will host a special recital by renowned pianist Alessandro Taverna (Italy) on Sunday, July 23. Presented by SAMIT Event Group as part of the VIP Classical concert series, the evening promises an enchanting musical journey. Beginning with Frédéric Chopin’s Andante spianato et Grande Polonaise Brillante, Taverna will showcase Alexey Shor’s mesmerizing Piano Sonata No. 1. The program also includes piano transcriptions by Franz Liszt, featuring Richard Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde and Giuseppe Verdi’s Rigoletto. Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Études-Tableaux and George Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue will conclude this captivating recital.
