Yuri Bashmet & The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia

Maestro Yuri Bashmet and The Youth Symphony Orchestra of Russia will perform on 30 September 2023 at Zabeel Theatre, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray.

Both concerts are going to take part in the first orchestra tour in the Middle East and will be brought to the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

The program will include pieces by Piotr Tchaikovsky and Sergei Rachmaninoff, whose 150th birthday is being celebrated around the world this year.

The leading young opera singers, soloists of the Bolshoi, tenor Yaroslav Abaimov, soprano Elmira Karakhanova, and bass Oleg Tsybulko will perform the famous arias from the opera Eugene Onegin.

The concerts will be the first cultural event in Dubai and Abu Dhabi according to Memorandum on Cultural Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the UAE signed in June 2023.
