If it’s a quiet break you’re after, Counter Culture Café could be just the ticket. Not only is it a calm place for a cuppa, is also a spot to get a free one. Until Tuesday October 1 from 11am until 11pm, enthusiasts from around Dubai can take on a coffee of their choice, completely dirham-free. The café is at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites, Dubai Marina, making it the ideal spot for those living in the area.

On Monday October 1, start your day with a fresh brew at Park House over at Nessnass Beach. Best part? You can go at any time of the day. Coffee-lovers can get a blend of Park House’s 100 percent organic brew, whether you’re on the move or want to enjoy the beach vibes from 7am until 9pm. They can have the coffee to go or have in dining in. Whether it be a strong americano or creamy flat white, nick one completely for free.

Grounded at Renaissance Downtown Hotel, Dubai
Nothing gives us that burst of energy throughout the day like a shot of espresso, especially when we get it for free. Grounded at the Renaissance Downtown Hotel Dubai is giving everyone the swings by a shot of free single espresso to celebrate International Coffee Day. All you have to do is show up. From 7am until 10pm on Tuesday October 1, the neighbourhood coffee shop will delivering high-quality, hand-roasted beans and brews crafted by local roasters, Seven Fortunes.

London Dairy Bistro
There’s a new London Dairy Bistro over in DIFC, and to celebrate both its new opening and coffee, its celebrating with a week of free signature coffee. Taking place at the Marble Walk area until Saturday October 5 from 8am until 4pm, the new set up will be setting up a coffee cart tricycle filled with free espresso based coffees and signature ice coffees. Stroll on by and get your free brew. Although, if you’re after something extra cold, there’s the nitro cold brew starting from Dhs22. It’s infused with nitrogen and (obviously) served chilled.

Marks & Spencer
For International Coffee Day you’ll get fair-trade coffee, for free. Until Tuesday October 1, the first 400 to head down to Marks & Spencer’s cafés in Dubai Festival City, Dubai Marina Walk, Ibn Battuta Mall and Springs Souk will get a brew completely off charge. Didn’t make it in time? Not to worry, as those who bring a reusable coffee cup from Marks and Spencer will get Dhs2 off a variety of its coffee blends. As for its exclusive kinds, M&S will be offering its Colombian blend, grown by small-holder famers on the foothills of the Andes. It has a hint of caramel. It’s for those with a sweet tooth. There’s also the ‘Lazy Weekend Ground Coffee’, blended with hazelnut and lemon.

Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai
In the middle of a shopping spree and need that 3pm pick-me-up? Or maybe a spot of coffee after waking up at the crack of dawn? Whatever the time, here’s how to get one on the house at Sheraton Mall of the Emirates Hotel, Dubai.
For 24 hours on Tuesday October 1, the Links Café at the hotel will be offering a free coffee of choice to anyone getting food.
That’s not all, as the Sanctuary Lounge from 10am-10pm, boasting panoramic views of the Dubai skyline on floor 24, is offering a ‘one-two-free’ deal that see’s coffee-lovers getting two coffees getting their third cuppa for free.

Armani Hotel Dubai
If you like your coffee to go beyond its liquid form, the special treats at the Armani/Lounge to celebrate International Coffee Day should do the trick. From Tuesday October 1 until Thursday October 10, the swanky lounge will be hosting a list of special coffee-themed activities, including experienced baristas showcasing the ‘art of coffee’, along with a number of treats. Expect coffee-based treats including Arabica cremoso cheesecake; cappuccino and mascarpone tiramisu; coffee and chocolate tartlet; coffee marble cake, mini coffee macarons and more.

Limited-Edition Brew at Hilton Dubai
To celebrate Hilton Hotel’s its 100th anniversary this year and founder Conrad Hilton’s love of coffee, the globally-established hospitality company will be creating a limited edition ‘Saffron Iced Coffee’. From Tuesday October 1 until Thursday October 31, coffee-lovers can exclusively expect saffron-infused milk, premium espresso and vanilla ice cream for an added sweet touch.
The special ice blend will only be available for the month, and will be sold at the following Hilton branches:
