Global Village introduces Ramadan Wonder Souq and Extended Hours

Dubai’s Global Village is gearing up to offer a delightful array of Ramadan experiences for its guests. In observance of the holy month, the UAE’s renowned multicultural destination has adjusted its operating hours, now welcoming visitors from 6 pm until 2 am, deviating from its usual timing of 4 pm to midnight.

During this special time, guests can indulge in a diverse selection of iftar and suhoor options, spanning various cuisines. Additionally, the newly introduced Ramadan Wonders Souk will beckon shoppers with its charm, modeled after a traditional Emirati market, boasting an eclectic array of unique treasures from across the globe.

As part of the Ramadan festivities, Global Village introduces the Step Challenge, offering participants the chance to win exciting prizes such as Samsung Galaxy mobile phones and Apple and Samsung smartwatches. By simply downloading the Global Village mobile app and embarking on a stroll through the park, participants can qualify for the weekly draw by achieving 10,000 steps in a single visit.

Entertainment abounds with daily performances of the Arabian Orchestra on the Main Stage, featuring a talented ensemble of 30 artists. Other live shows, including captivating displays such as dual harp performances, violin renditions, and the mesmerizing Tannoura show, will enchant audiences on both the Main Stage and the Wonder Stage in Mini World.

To illuminate the nights, musical fireworks will illuminate the sky every Friday and Saturday at 9 pm, while The Dragon Lake will undergo a Ramadan-themed transformation, featuring an exclusive laser and fire show. Moreover, the iconic Ramadan Cannon will mark the end of fasting daily at sunset.

Younger guests can delight in the festivities at the Kids’ Theatre, where weekends will be filled with entertaining shows. From Friday to Sunday, children can enjoy a delightful Arabic puppet show and a unique Ramadan-themed edition of the Kaleidoscope Show.
