Who Can Join Libraries in Dubai
Residents and citizens of Dubai are welcome to borrow books from public libraries. Simply sign up for a membership and pay the applicable fees. Non-members may also have access to on-site reading at certain libraries.
How to Register for Membership
Adult memberships start at Dhs200, with options for kids and families as well. Registration requires a copy of your Emirates ID and payment of fees. Once approved, you’ll receive a digital membership card.
Borrowing Books
Depending on your membership, you can borrow books for 28 to 35 days. Adults can borrow up to 15 titles, kids 10, and families 25.
