Starting next week, Dubai residents will be able to pay for Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) services in instalments. The RTA has partnered with the Tabby app to offer an easy instalment payment option for customers using its smart kiosks.
Meera AlShaikh, Director of Digital Services at RTA Dubai, shared that the instalment plan will be available for digital services such as renewing vehicle and driver licenses and paying fines. This initiative aims to make RTA payments more accessible and convenient for all customers.
RTA’s smart kiosks offer various services, including the payment of fines, issuance of certificates, and seasonal parking cards. These kiosks are strategically located across Dubai, allowing users to renew their vehicle or driving licenses and print them instantly in under a minute.
Tabby, a leading financial services app used by over 40,000 brands and small businesses in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Kuwait, will soon launch its instalment payment service for RTA customers. The service is expected to start at RTA customer service centers next week, with plans for expansion across all digital channels in the near future.
