The Pink Caravan Ride (PCR), organized by the Friends of Cancer Patients (FOCP), is offering free breast cancer screenings and raising awareness of the disease at 9 fixed clinics across six emirates in the UAE.
The clinics will operate from 4pm to 10pm between January 20th and February 10th, and will also offer sessions on self-examination to detect breast cancer early. The clinics will be open to the public before the launch of the 11th edition of the annual Pink Caravan Ride, which takes place between February 4th and 10th. The screenings are available to both men and women and will be located in Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
In Dubai, citizens and residents can head to Lulu Hypermarket in Al Barsha, and Mirdif City Centre to take advantage of the free medical screening, while in Ajman, the fixed clinic will be providing early detection for both men and women in China Mall.
