Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) has announced the launch of the first international public bus service, linking Ras Al Khaimah with Oman’s Musandam Governorate. The bus service will commence on 6th October 2023 from the primary bus station in Ras Al Khaimah (Al Dhait South) and will feature two stops within the Emirates, specifically at Al Rams and the Shaam area. In the Musandam Governorate, the service will initiate and conclude its journey in the Wilayat of Khasab, with stops at Tibaat, Wilayat of Bukha, Harf, and Qada areas.
Timings & Ticket Price
Two daily journeys are scheduled, departing Ras Al Khaimah at 8 am and 6 pm on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with an approximate travel time of 3 hours for the entire trip.
The one-way journey cost is set at Dhs 50
