Etisalat Free Data Offer Marks 50th Anniversary – Check Your SMS
Etisalat is giving eligible customers free mobile data as part of its 50th anniversary celebrations in the UAE. The Etisalat free data offer rewards customers based on how long they have been with the telecom operator, with 1GB given for every year of service.
The complimentary data is valid until October 12, 2026, and customers are advised to check their SMS to find out how much data they have received.
Get 1GB free for every year with Etisalat
Under the anniversary promotion, eligible customers receive 1GB of free data for every year they have been an Etisalat customer.
For example:
- 5 years – 5GB free data
- 10 years – 10GB free data
- 15 years – 15GB free data
- 20 years – 20GB free data
Customers who have been with Etisalat for even longer could therefore receive a larger data allowance, depending on their eligibility.
The free data is valid until October 12, 2026. Customers should check the SMS sent by Etisalat for their individual data allowance and any applicable terms.
Etisalat celebrates 50 years in the UAE
The free data promotion is part of Etisalat’s 50th anniversary celebrations in the UAE.
Etisalat began operations in 1976 as Emirates Telecommunications Corporation and became the UAE’s first telecommunications operator.
The company rebranded as e& in 2022, while the Etisalat name is now returning for its telecommunications business as part of the group’s 50th anniversary.

Along with free data, Etisalat has introduced several other anniversary promotions for customers.
Selected smartphones are available with discounts of up to 30%, while discounts on selected technology accessories can reach up to 90%.
Special mobile data packages announced as part of the promotions include:

- 50GB for AED 200
- 250GB for AED 600
Selected home Wi-Fi plans are also being offered at 50% off for six months, subject to eligibility and the terms of the individual promotion.

Etisalat customers should check their recent SMS messages to find out whether they have received free anniversary data and how much has been added to their account.
As the complimentary data is available only until October 12, customers who have received the reward should make sure to use it before it expires.
