Expo City Dubai is offering free entry to its flagship pavilions on May 19th, allowing visitors to relive Expo 2020 Dubai memories with their families. The relationship between museums and Expo City Dubai is highlighted on International Museum Day, which focuses on sustainability goals since 2020.
It showcases the potential of museums in sustainable development and invites visitors to explore various pavilions for free, including Alif – The Mobility Pavilion, Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, The Women’s and Vision Pavilions, and the three Stories of Nations Pavilions. Specially curated educational programs and a treasure hunt are available for children under the theme of ‘Museums, Sustainability, and Wellbeing’. Planned activities include film screenings, tours, storytelling sessions, workshops, and crafts activities. Expo City Dubai will also host COP28 in November 2023, as the UAE President declared 2023 the ‘Year of Sustainability’.
